On 26 September Simon Willison documented a closing-keynote workflow that stands in for a wider craft class: Claude Opus 5.5 built an HTML5 canvas pixel-art animation from reference photos, then Claude Code drove Playwright to click through the page and record a 15-second video for Keynote. The same week, HyperFrames-style pipelines (HTML timed with data attributes, seekable animation, FFmpeg encode) kept spreading as the agent-friendly alternative to timeline-only tools.
What changed is where motion lives. If the spot is code, it diffs, regenerates and batches. That is not a replacement for cinematic plates. It is a fast path for kinetic type, UI explainers, social systems and conference stunts where layout craft matters more than photoreal chaos.
