On 28 September Kling AI said Kling 4.0 had entered testing with a full launch aimed at October, while Kling 4.0 Flash opened for early experience the same day. Reported upgrades centre on realism and controllability: native generations up to about 30 seconds, as many as 10 keyframe inputs, and high-spec output including 4K and 1080p 10-bit HDR, plus stabler large motion and camera moves.
What matters for creatives is the control grammar. Keyframes turn a prompt into a storyboard. Longer natives reduce the stitch tax that makes AI spots feel like clip salads. Flash exists for volume; full 4.0 is the October bet for hero work.
