AI brings back Houdini. People still wrote every word.

This is where the craft and ethics line now sits: AI handles the likeness, people do the rest. Fox Nation's three-part Houdini: Back from the Dead, from Red Rock Films, presents an AI-generated Houdini answering questions for a documentary camera, built from more than 400 licensed photographs and archival footage.

Actors played the people around him, from his wife Bess to his brother, and AI turned them into those figures. People wrote the scripts from his diaries, books and letters, experts checked the history, and the voices mix human and AI. It debuts on 14 October.
